4.1 A Knowledge Management Framework
This chapter outlines the fundamental parameters for our study of KM implementation in an organisational setting. Please do not consider these discussions and models as definitive or exclusive of other approaches that can be found. Our model is presented to orient both our understanding of approaches to KM and the later elements of our study. The KM framework presented below is therefore a reference model; a model to be used as a basis for tailoring KM to specific contexts and cultures.
