8.1.2 Building systems to meet individual and organisational needs
Timely and relevant information collection is dependent on the development of a sound Knowledge Plan and an efficient and ongoing Information Audit process. Communication between the research and development (R&D) team and the other individuals and teams within the organisation is critical to achieving this. In order to achieve value-add all staff have to connect, collect, confirm and communicate. Sharing knowledge in our information rich world is all about connecting purpose with the communication of relevant information. That is, not just telling people what you are doing and listening to their responses, but actually connecting with what their purpose is and how it ties into the overall company purpose.
