6.5 Packaging
Both branding and packaging are part of the augmented product, which in turn provides positioning opportunities for the product, that is, it is more than just protection for the product. As you probably already realise there is also a linkage between promotion and packaging as the package can convey messages of quality, the overall image and the appeal of the product.
