10.5 Meetings

One of the most common forms of organisational communication is the meeting. Meetings are often spoken of negatively as many people see them as a waste of time (see below, for example). However, well prepared meetings can be very productive.

Then why not hold a meeting?
You can get to see other people,
Sleep in peace,
Off-load decisions,
Feel important
and
Impress (or bore) your colleagues;
and...
All in work time!
