3.1.3 Strategies for sorting information

When you research for a topic or question you will often find that you can be overwhelmed by the amount of research you find. Avoid 'paralysis by analysis' by systematically sorting the information. There are many ways you can do this. Mapping your information and thoughts on a topic is a very useful technique for clarification. It allows you the opportunity to reflect on the information and the topic and better manage the 'where do I start?' thought!
