5.2 Decision making

Decision making is essential to organisational functioning. It is necessary to change from the existing situation to a desired outcome. In this section, by way of setting the stage, we shall briefly examine the role of outside forces in corporate decision making and then look at the factors that a manager considers when making decisions.
