11.1 What are these rights?

"Rights" for any group of people can be established legally by governments; or they may simply be a statement of attitudes and behaviours that are commonly valued and highly desirable in a society, so-called " moral" rights. In any business transaction, the buyer (the customer) and the seller (the service provider) each have both legal and moral rights.

Activity 11.1

On a sheet of paper make two columns. Entitle the first column Rights of the customer . Entitle the second column Rights of the provider . Now fill in the lists. Try to be comprehensive - you should manage several in each column.

Now compare your list with the following reading - do not be concerned with the age of the reading - it is one of the better lists that we have found:
