Foster innovation and creativity
Introduction
No complex organization can remain healthy and viable for long without the capacity to anticipate, execute and adapt to change (Ellingsworth, 1976:299).
In the following chapter we will management in relation to the fostering of innovation. Study will analyse how leaders can use innovation to assist attain sustainable competitive advantage for a transport and logistics business.
While the following chapter deals with the facets that impel changes to current mindsets, they also highlight obsolete approaches to work and systems design.
Our study will focus how the manager's ability to foster innovation must centre on customer responsiveness and adoption of agile systems that enable staff to rapidly adapt to emerging customer needs.
